Late 2000 / Early 2001 Soundtracks

The surprise hit soundtrack of the year from the Coen Brothers  "O Brother, Where Art Thou?" featuring the hit country track "I Am a Man of Constant Sorrow" by The Soggy Bottom Boys. This song really resonates with anyone who sees the movie. I hate country music but I love this song. Give it a try. See if you like it, the least you can say is you tried something different today.

A very ignored movie by the public with great reviews and an excellent soundtrack featured throughout this top notch movie like "Fever Dog" by the movie's fictional group Stillwater along with tons of classic tracks by the likes of The Who, Led Zeppelin, and Simon & Garfunkel. If you saw the movie, how could you not remember the sing-a-long of Elton John's "Tiny Dancer".

I love Bjork's music. Her style and voice is so unique and this great accompaniment to the supremely intriguing dramatic musical Dancer in the Dark. The duet with Radioead's Thom Yorke, "i've Seen it All" almost brings me to tears.

Four Bob Dylan tracks including a brand new one called "Things Have Changed". There also classic tracks by Buffalo Springfield, Neil Young, and Leonard Young. For the soft rock, folk lover.

I didn't like the movie, although the angels were hot. The Soundtrack was pretty popular with that feminist anthem "Independent Women" by Destiny's Child. If you like that song, check this soundtrack out.

You like Metal music? This is metal music. the leaders of Nu-Metal are on this. Powerman 5000, Static-X, Taproot, Linkin Park plus System of a Down, Pantera, Marilyn Manson and a whole lot more.

And an old favorite...

There are no lyrics just some soothing sounds of the greatest movie of all time, Fargo. When I listen to it makes me think back to the first time I saw it and I can vividly remember each individual scene.
